The Lexington

We had an amazing night at the Lexington last week. It was so fabulous, I needed to leave a review. We live in the North Loop and rarely make the journey across the river. Our night at the Lexington did not disappoint!
The hostesses were nice and attentive. When our table wasn’t quite ready (diners that had been there for going on 3 hours) they found us a spot elsewhere and kept us updated until it was ready. Our server was amazing! Johnny On the spot and was always available.
Food of scallion mash, beet salad, veggie burger and regular burger was delicious. Not a dud in the bunch. To top it off, it was jazz night and we enjoyed a wonderful ambience as well. Thanks to the Lexington! We will most definitely be back.

I visited several times for happy hour, which is one of the best in the city. The atmosphere and Ambience of this old world restaurant can't be beat. It's more like a club on the inside. Very attentive and friendly staff, bartenders know how to make a wide variety of drinks.

What a beautiful night. We went to celebrate the wedding of friends, and it was absolutely stunning. Grace, our server, gave us a rundown on all the specials and some of her favorites (the tabasco/molasses long rib is to die for!) and gave a nice mix of being attentive, but also letting us talk and celebrate. Francisco our wait assist kept everything neat and glasses full. Jorge, the manager on the floor checked back a few times and kept everyone smiling. We even saw Chef Jack on the floor (welcome back, my man!). A beautiful dinner in a gorgeous setting. Cheers!

I just love this place! The ambience is great, and I have had great service every time I've been there. All the employees really seem to enjoy working there. I've only come in for drinks and usually enjoy being belly up and people watching. Such a diverse crowd. Very classy place, and one of my new favorite spots in St Paul. I'll definitely be back soon!

Brunch. I was taking a lady out for her birthday and someplace special seemed in order. Never having been previously, I did not know what to expect. Sunday at noon with a reservation already set, we entered. From start to finish the experience was wonderful. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Their knowledge of the food and suggestions based on meal preference was much appreciated. Our waiter, Jeffery, was humorous and an absolute delight. The food, while not the cheapest, was cooked to perfection and was a real treat. Their brunch menu promises options everyone will enjoy. There are three areas to sit in, including one dining room with windows into the kitchen. Personally, I don't know that I would make this a regular place, but for special occasions or if I want to treat some guests, this will be my place of choice.
