“There are some strange reviews here. Someone said the staff was angry, but I found them to be exceedingly friendly. Another person complained that portions were small and prices were too high, but I thought my salad was very big, and when a salad and a fresh watermelon lemonade only cost $13.75, that's a really nice deal. I was really happy with my healthy and flavorful meal. If I I had one quibble, I would have liked a little more seasoning in my salad, but otherwise, I will certainly be back.”

“The food was good. Higher on the pepper and spicy side, but decent. The waitress started off with an attitude and was actually rather rude to our party of ten, but she got better as the meal progressed. The refills came regularly. The place was well kept.”

“This is a great place for lunch. They have Chicken Gyros, Chicken Kabobs, Lamb/Beef Gyros, and Falafel. You can get them in a bowl, a wrap, or a platter. Their chicken kabob skewer is probably the most popular here and delicious! You can order extra meat on the side for a nominal price. Highly recommend for lunch on a weekday”

“Best place for sushi inside the Saint Paul skyway. The rolls are made to order and they take their time to make everything to perfection. Would recommend!”

“I adore this spot! They have first-rate meals, their menu is decent, The cook in that place is a real pro, I like very much trying all their food. The food is always good, the service towards the visitors is nice. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.”

“I know that burgers equal grease, but when it saturates a part of the bun, it's gross. I got the one with triple cheese, Basil got the mushroom. We both loved the taste. We got salads as a choice of side. Blue cheese was homemade and it's a generous portion for a side. I drank water since iced tea is off the gun.”

“DELICIOUS! Took a stroll through the food court and found this place. The sweet potato tots are phenomenal, they're perfectly crispy on the outside and nothing but mushy sweet goodness on the inside. The burgers on the menu were all so impressive it was hard to choose. I went with the Capital Burger. The pepper jack cheese was abundant and gooey, the jalapeno bacon was perfectly unique, and the chipotle cream cheese sauce was to DIE for. I don't eat out much so when I do I expect great things and they completely exceeded all my expectations. The employees were all super friendly and I will definitely be coming back soon.”

“I have been to this location three times. Each time for breakfast there were multiple diverse options available and our group always purchases one of each to try. Everything was delicious. I have only gone with non-vegans and they didn't notice a difference and raved about the food. I also tried the tamales once for lunch with another friend and they were excellent. I do wish the hours were consistent week to week but not too bad for pretty much a one man establishment.”

“This place is so important. They have daily specials that are usually incredible. If you get a chance at Grandma's porridge it's the best special. The chili bowl is the best bang for your buck and the root is a phenomenal tasting sandwich. These guys are really positive and your 11th meal is free. Can't beat it.”

“I had the Minneapolis Dogg which was delicious the problem for me was I didn't work in the tunnel system downtown Saint Paul so when I was using maps to get there. It just showed in the middle of the building. After parking I assumed it was on the skyway level, which was right. If I worked in ther skyway system it would make sense. After all was said and done, I like the food, very friendly staff with great conversation, the prices were high but I took into consideration where they're located so I expected to pay a bit more after I had to pay for parking. I just don't see myself going again as long as I have to pay to park to get to their location.”

“One of my favorite places to catch good and affordable lunch during the work week. $7.00 for a container of Blackened chicken or Bourbon chicken and two sides (red beans and rice, cooked cabbage, potatoes, etc.). So worth trying this place if you haven't yet. Family operated and have been located here for years.”

“Nice atmosphere, lively yet peaceful. The food was excellent - steak was cooked to perfection, flavor was superb. Wait staff were all so genuinely nice. We were seated near a window with a lovely view of the Rice park area architecture. St. Paul dining doesn't get any better!”

“Great healthy breakfast options made to order. I have a dairy allergy so it's very challenging to find breakfast, especially at coffee shops. The chef was knowledgable and made sure I had no butter or milk products in any of the components of the breakfast sandwich I ordered, and made substitutions as needed. You can also add veggies to your sandwich, which is rare and so nice! Great service from all staff as well.”

“Their makeline was really messy and yes there was a long line but that’s understandable since it was lunch time. Costumer service was alright... but what made me feel a little off was that so many people were waiting for utensils and the associates didn’t do anything about it. Would I come here again? Maybe. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. Try again.”

“I’ve seen some reviews stating that service is slow or nonexistent. I did not see this. We were in last Saturday before a MN Wild game. We were greeted immediately and at. We were also brought water and our beverage orders were taken. The place was increasingly busy and soon the bar area was packed. We never felt neglected and our server was attentive. The food was very good. We had the brussel sprouts, scallop pasta, risotto and flat bread pizza. All were very tasty. Our cocktails were also very tasty, but not very strong. We’d definitely come back. We had great service, great food and decent drinks. The atmosphere is really nice with the fireplace.”
