We started out just wanting to find a place for a good dinner and cocktails and we ended up staying for bingo. My boyfriend won two games, the last being I believe the game prior to the final game you had to play in order to play the final game of the night. Anyways, there was a bunch of winners, so his portion was $13. We waited....waited....and waited and three games later, AFTER the collector had paid the lady behind me her $13 for the same game, the boyfriend had to track down the collector to obtain his payout of the winnings.
She claimed she 'forgot' about him winning. My standing is; how did you forget, when you paid him a previous winning and paid the lady behind us her payout for the same game he won.
I'm sorry to say I believe she 'forgot' as a way to obtain her tip for the evening. Needless to say, we're not impressed with her actions and were not simply her forgetting as there were plenty of staff on hand so she wasn't having to be rushed.
The food was good but we're left with a sour taste in regards to staffing.
This place has great food. Had the french dip and mashed potatoes. Very good. The other time I had the pork sliders that were on special. Also very good. The daily specials and 2 for 1 happy hour (after 830pm too) are nice. Can get pretty loud on the weekends. They have pool tables and all kinds of interactive gambling activities. Not really a place for small children. Good for groups or even just sitting at the bar.
LOVE THE FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE! DRINKS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD! IS A BIT ON THE PRICEY SIDE, BUT SO WORTH IT.
Jimmy's Bar is pretty good. It was clean, well-lit, and the service was fast. The drinks are expensive in my opinion, but they were 2-4-1 so that made them cheaper. I'm not sure the hours on that promotion or if it's literally all the time, but they said that the normal price for a gin and tonic was $8.50, which is very steep. This is not a cocktail bar. You go there to order a beer or a vodka soda. Nothing with more than two ingredients. It's a busy bar and the drinks are large. They have pulltabs.
Went here for a birthday & had a blast! It's a bar & restaurant, they have pool tables, darts, video games & a patio. Attentive waitresses & bartenders! They have high top tables that can fit 6 or more at. Great happy hours. I'll be back!
