Awesome little gem here in WBL. Fantastic meads, with a variety to fit every taste. Highly recommend stopping in and checking it out for yourself.
I was very impressed with Josh's Meadery. He has a nice selection to different tastes and more mead on the way. The place is cozy with tables for groups of 4 and bar seating that makes it real easy for individuals to sit. Nice atmosphere that has Viking touches to go along with the Norse names of his mead that fit with the times when mead was the primary drink of the earlier times. His mead goes from a dry style to the sweeter mead's made with honey and apples. Very nice and fun place to go. His prices are reasonable and you can get take home bottles of his excellent mead's. I will definitely be going back!
Delicious mead, fun atmosphere, and I'm all for supporting local business. Plus his mead is better than the stuff at the Renaissance festival.
Great little hole-in-the-wall. The meads were fantastic and the atmosphere was welcoming. Could use some music or TV to compete with the sounds of the fan. Otherwise it was a great experience and I can’t wait to get back!!
Just tried the mead at the soft opening. Nice clean and inviting taproom. The cyser was really smooth with a hint of cinnamon. I loved the hopped buckwheat, it’s a hard mead to describe. Maybe beer+molasses+honey+essence of rural Minnesota farmland. Excited to see what else they come up with.
