If you are anywhere near Faribault, GO HERE. My two sisters and I did on the recommendation of a friend and we could not be more delighted with our delicious experience at Crack of Dawn Bakehouse. Chris and Lori (owners/bakers) are hardworking and terrifically talented, and their staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The food here is absolutely the BEST. We found ourselves saying, "This is the best ________ I've ever tasted" for every item we dove into. We highly recommend the things we had, which were: any flavor quiche on the menu, any of their bread loaves, the cookies (OMG), the caramel pecan rolls and cinnamon rolls (OMG AGAIN), "Nana's Sandwich," specially prepared coffees and teas, and, well, I just can't imagine that anything on their incredibly cute menu board could be any less than those items we devoured. I wish I had photos of the food but quite honestly, we inhaled it too fast for a photo op (and you just have to TASTE it; photos do not do it justice). Just GO.

Amazing quiche and rolls! I stopped in before work this morning to get some goodies and I am so glad I did. The quiche was delicious and so were the garlic cheese rolls. It was so good that I stopped in again after work to buy some treats to bring home to my family. Highly recommend!

Stopped by here on our self guided walking tour of downtown Fairbault. We ordered the cinnamon roll, caramel pecan roll, and coffee. All were tasty, caramel roll was not as fresh as the cinnamon roll which we both preferred. Candied pecans were super tasty.
