Owner is always friendly and always remembers our favorites. Prices Re very reasonable.

Good daily deals on food. Good unique variety, not just same old same old. Portions can be a little small, but it isn't on the expensive side for Belle plaine. I still would like to see them bigger for a little better value, thus the 4 stars.

Stopped for lunch when I was in town. Loved the signs out front.

Typical small town dive bar. Pretty expansive menu with daily specials. I have eaten there twice. Once lunch and once breakfast. Food is alright, but nothing to write home about. Decent pricing though. The place feels warm and inviting enough with a good separation between the dining side and the bar side, making it more welcoming for families out for dinner. The bathrooms are horrible little closets. I advise you stop at the gas station before arriving if you have to go.
