I sat with a lovely older lady (about 70,y.o) named Harriet, she was alone at a table. Food taste so much better when you share it with someone.
She is a regular. She gets #0 a 2eggs, choice of meat and toast for $5.75
She informs me that it's $2 cheap than in her home town of Montgomery. We laugh. So I tried her suggestion it was yummy and the bacon I like dead crisp and it came that way on the first try. Harriet I continue to converse about life. May I suggest the cinnamon roll it was also fantastic.
After Harriet left the atmosphere changed life got loanly and service wasn't much either.

Good food at a good price, great breakfast!

This place is old; there's no denying that. It's in disrepair inside and nothing is making it stand out as a quaint "you must visit" kind of place.

That said, if you want to go to a bar where you're actually able to hear a conversation, have some space to move, watch a game, and get a pretty good and cheap burger, go here. They also have breakfast, which I haven't tried but I'm guessing, since there were only 3 other people in here on a Saturday night, breakfast must be how this place makes money.

I will definitely go back for breakfast and update.

I had been in this place a few times. I really like the food!????. One time on fall, I had a chicken wild rice soup bred bowl. Was a big bowl for the price and delicious! It's open on holldays, that's why we went there the first time. Was a holiday and we were passing through the city. I was starving but in other towns the restaurants were close. The pub has a big fireplace and a pretty chessboard tile floor. Price and portions are reasonable, and the best thing, taxes are included in the menu. You don't see that very often.
