Windmill Cafe

We tried this place for the first time this morning. It's everything you want in a small town diner. There was an issue with their exhaust fan and so we waited until they fixed it and it was so work the wait. The chicken fried steak was amazing! Will go back for sure!

Small restaurant, but offered a good amount of good food at a fair price! But I'm wondering "HOW",.....can a restaurant like this stay in business with all the city ordinances, when it "Does Not Have" an adequate/or proper handicap entrance for the disabled??!

This place is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. when I want to go to a good supper, this is the place that comes straight to my head. Great and food and a large menu.generous staff, and agreeable atmosphere. Not less important, the expence is reasonable. I suggest this restaurant with pleasure.

Best cafe around! Great breakfast menu. No frills, traditional cafe. It’s on the smaller side, but even when they are busy I’ve never had to wait long for a table. Nicest staff! I usually get the eggs benedict or the breakfast sandwich.

A cute whole in the wall south of the river. :) Windmill Cafe carries the old school diner vibes very well. Not to mention their booths a very comfortable to sit in. Almost feel like I am dining in a movie from the early 1970s.
I was very happy with the food, it’s simple and straight to the point, also affordable. The staff is very friendly and will gladly refill your coffee or get you anything you need. :)
