'"Children keep food on tables and bottoms in seats or you will be asked to leave"

This was what was on a sign that made the news. Management said this was geared towards rowdy teenagers and other parents claimed that they 'felt uncomfortable' eating there with their small children after they had seen this sign.

Really? Any decent parent shouldn't have an issue here. Small kids will act like small kids do. Things get spilled, they will get upset at times, etc. You aren't going to be asked to leave in 99% of these cases. The problem is the other 1%. It's not with all small kids.. it's the 'parents' of some of these kids that they are with. When you see kids running around and making a mess..it's typically because the 'parent' that brought them is too busy looking at their phone. If a kid is deliberately making a mess or wants to run around the restaurant - its time to go. Instead, the parents ignore the situation as they have more important facebook updates to look at. If these parents are so fixated on their phones when out to eat.. (sadly) you can can bet it's not all that different at home. Is it any surprise that those kids are running wild? This isn't an Arby's issue.. this is what is happening in society.

As for the 'teens' that Management had said this sign was for.. I've encountered these large groups of teens when dining there. They typically show up after school and are loud and obnoxious. No parents - no rules. Each of them trying to talk louder than the person next to them - at the same time - each on their individual soapbox. It's probably no different than when we got together with our teenage friends back in the day. I've never seen a Manager or anyone come out to try and quiet these groups down or ask them to take the party somewhere else.

What was said on the sign is an unsaid expectation at most establishments. It's sad that things got to a point where someone felt the need to post this sign.

Anyway, as for the Arby's.. the food is decent and I've never had an issue with any of the staff. Cleanliness is something that could improve as I don't think I've ever sat in a booth that didn't have food lodged in the area where the seat meets the back rest.

Food was great, service was excellent. Please put your "children keep food on tables and bottoms in seats or you will be asked to leave" sign back up, do not worry about snowflake millennial parents who can't handle parenting their kids and are offended by everything. By the way, the traditional Gyros were excellent. THEY HAVE THE MEATS!

Store manager is a very funny guy. Quick Service. Thanks for a good meal. The only downside the pictures on their menu board does not look like what you get. But that's the same everywhere

I went there today at 12:10 l, ordered my lunch and i was next in line for the window when i remembered that I had cancelled my card because it was stolen and i was waiting for my new one. I explained the situation to the very nice lady at the window and had to cancel my order. To my surprise, she went out of her way and told me that it was on the house today! I was so dumbfounded and surprised but I just wanted to say that was really awesome of her (i didn’t catch her name) and that i really appreciate her amazing customer service! you really made my day!

We live in ElkRiver and go here often. Probably too often but regardless their customer service is always amazing! Friendly, quick, accurate and did I mention friendly! Always service with a smile! We usually do the drive through. However the dining area is always super clean and nice if you eat inside! Not to mention the food is always amazing! Keep up the great work Arby’s!
