Canal Park Brewing Company

By far our favorite place to eat and drink in Duluth. Awesome people work here too. Great beer and great food. Great location. Downside is, it gets really busy because its so good.

Loved this place the first time we came over three years ago. Back then the food was amazing. The brews are still great but the food has lost the fresh tasty unique lustre it had. Sandwich was dry and lacked depth of flavor. Curry soup had good flavor (very spicy) but vegetables in it were all chopped fine and cooked to mush. The menu makes little attempt to accommodate dietary restrictions, so not a great place if you are looking for variety with gluten free needs. Service is very good and friendly. Atmosphere is still fun and upbeat.

Great beer and great food in a great location. Would be nice to come back in the summer months and enjoy the patio a little more. Only complaint is when I asked to buy a growler of beer, I was given one that was already 15 days old. I asked for a fresher one and got one that was only 5 days newer then the other one... I don't want to be too picky, but freshness is important when it comes to growler beer...

The beer is quite delicious. I love that you can make your own flights unlike some other breweries. The food was delicious too. A great place to kick up your heels after wandering around Canal Park for a couple hours. Oh and they have a changing station in the men's bathroom. For all ya dads out there.

Excellent food and beer! We found a cozy spot outside on the patio by the fire: a perfect end to a day hiking and exploring. The service was also great. A wonderful atmosphere! I’ll make this one of my “must go back to” spots when I visit Duluth again.
