Loaf and Ladle

My friend and I decided to try this place out. We got the Just Mac and Grilled cheese. The Mac was so good. My favorite thing for sure. Does have a hot/spicy taste so be careful. To me I like that kinda of stuff so 10/10 for sure. The grilled cheese was good nothing over the top. Service was amazing the guy and girl working were both super nice. The place itself is not the best looking but , don’t judge a book by its cover and come try this place out! You won’t regret it!

The place is what I call a crack in the wall a small local business you blink and you miss it but the food is great you get great portions your definitely not leaving without a to go tray if your looking for great food and great service it’s the place to be the owner is super friendly never had better service then I have here you definitely feel welcomed and wanted

Loaf and Ladle is a fantastic place, a hidden gem in downtown Duluth. The owner, Alex, is the best, super kind and friendly, going out of his way to make each order special and bringing a smile to the faces of his customers.

We ordered a burger and the Mac and cheese, late at night when nothing else could provide anything of comparable quality. The Mac and cheese was heaping, beautifully presented with a sprinkle of herbs, and carried a subtle jalapeno flavor alongside the perfect texture and taste of the noodles and cheese.

The burger was also outstanding, quoting Melissa "this place could take on Five Guys any day".

We would absolutely come here again and highly recommend it to anyone in Duluth looking for a quality, well-priced meal at a place you feel good supporting. 💙

Amazing spot! At first glance, there isn’t a whole lot going on aesthetically, but when we walked in we were kindly greeted by the owner, who gave us our menus and brought us to a table, he let us know that they were missing a couple ingredients for a couple items but had updated the menu to reflect the changes. We ordered and we’re told that they were doing a special for free appetizers, instead of bringing out just one, they let us sample all of them!
The food was amazing, their loaded Mac and cheese & bacon cheddar tots were 10/10. The owner was so kind and appreciative of our business. such a great experience. 10000% will be back again!
