Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

We got stuck in Duluth during the big snowstorm and ate breakfast here twice. We would always recommend their pancakes. Some of the best. Other good items were meat and potato omelet and smoked sausage (side on build your own breakfast). The staff was working hard despite a skeleton crew. Good option in a bind that makes kids happy too!

Food is good, atmosphere it good as well. The only thing I had an issue with was we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated even though there was no one else there. The workers were in the back talking. Wish this would be taken care of. Overall once we were seated everything went well.

Perkins has adequate food. Nothing on their menu is amazing, but it is usually decent enough. A big plus is having breakfast all day. Not going to lie, more often than not at Perkins I get an omelette. The London Road location has a pretty good view of Lake Superior. It used to have the advantage of being one of the only open 24 hour spots in Duluth but that's no longer the case. Perkins is almost never my first choice for a place to eat unless I want Pancakes 6pm, but the service is usually good and the food is fine, just not great.

Perkins is my favorite restaurant by far. I always get the chicken tender melt and it never disappoints. The service is always spectacular and the good always tastes hot and delicious! I missed this restaurant so Much when I lived in Arizona! It's one of the few things I looked forward to when moving back to Minnesota.
