Sunshine Cafe

This is just the cutest little place. Some buddies and myself came here to start our day of adventure with some breakfast. Man, are we glad we came here! I had the Swedish pancakes, and the were just like how my Amma makes them (even though we're Icelandic lol). The staff was so warm, and welcoming, and started my first trip to Duluth with some of the best breakfast I've had in years. I will be returning to start a tradition for my family when we go to Duluth next.

Service is VERY FRIENDLY. great portions, very good pricing, and old school flare and feel. I grew up in a very small town, and this place brought me back to when times were simpler and people were good.....happy customer

Wonderful "small town diner" right in West Duluth. Nice mix of foods on menu. Rotating daily specials. Fast service with friendly ownership/staff.

This place is a gem. A small menu of breakfast items and a few lunch items. And what they serve is the best of what it is. I ordered the taco omelette and a pancake. The eggs were the fluffiest eggs I'd ever had and the pancake was huge. Hashbrowns were excellent. Incredibly friendly staff. Two people can sit and have coffee and breakfast for $20. You have to check it out.

In response to all the children's art and community involvement around the restaurant, the owner told me, "This is not my restaurant; this is my customer's restaurant." The love absolutely shines through.

Food was delicious! Wait was a bit, but the friendly service was wonderful! I had a very hungry and crabby 1.5 year old with me, and our server gave her free crackers, so nice! Definitely coming back!
