Quite tasty shredded beef enchilada/burrito combo. Rice and beans were a little dry. Nice atmosphere. Overall quite pleasant.
The food is GREAT!!!!! AWESOME PRICE. The salsa is my absolute favorite ever!! The inside is super cute. 1stbtime here and I'll definitely come back
Melissa was a great waitress on New Year's Eve. My husband ordered a combination plate and I had the chicken fajitas. Since the plate is hot and sizzling, the chicken dried out fast, but everything else was delicious. They give you so much stuff tho-I could only eat half. Forgot to take a before pic so this picture is after I was done eating! We did have a rude guest next to us loudly telling her dinner companions (that she apparently just met) that she's ordering steak because "she doesn't like Mexican food"! Umm.. maybe not go to a Mexican restaurant then? Pretty rude! We will be here again-love the decor and atmosphere.
What the hey! We stopped going here for soo many reasons. We only came because it's now one of the rare places you can eat sitting down in beautiful downtown Virginia, during these times.
It was amazing. The dark interior didn't stop us from finding a couple of winning meals. We had great mexican style food that included house made beans and rice. The salsa was outstanding. Very flavorful with a touch of sweetness. If you haven't gone here in awhile be aware it's changed for the better. The food I had was the taco/relleno combo. What a winner! Great flavor, good ingredients and generous servings. It was about 10 bucks a plate. Liquor is available.
Yummmm!!! I ordered the combo enchiladas. They came with rice and beans. The entree was tasty and flavorful. It was also the perfect temperature. The enchiladas were generously stuffed with shredded chicken, beef and cheese and then smothered in enchilada sauce.
