Giliberto's Mexican Taco Shop

Be very open and cool with anything if you decide to use their drive thru. We have never gotten the right order and they use the drive thru to manipulate people by changing your order so they can charge you more money. It would work better if they had numbers or some way to order but if you say I want the two enchilada and rice and beans meal they will try to land you with two of those meals and they will try to argue that is what you ordered. On the rare times you get your order and your not charged extra you may or may not get the right order so make sure you are not picky because you never know what you will get. I suggest that you find another place to eat if you have allergies or diet restrictions because because making money is the priority of this place not the customers. Just be careful. Sad though because if you can get the correct food it is really good.

I visit this place quite often food is good, try? marinated chicken tacos?. Kids usally get fries with taco meat and fixins. Beef tacos good too but sometimes a salty watery taste.

My only issue is that there is an older worker there with heavy accent and speaking over intercom with mask is difficult to understand. I ordered tacos on corn shell like I always do and repeat just to make sure. Lady repeated back to me what sounded like what I had ordered. When getting order noticed it was hard shell took it back within 30sec. She became very rude told me she asked me I said yes. I stayed polite and explained that over the intercom it sound the same. (Corn shell -vs- Hard shell)Just miscommunication, well she in turn got mad began speaking in spanish to other worker about me and said I'll do it this time but next time no. 1st off Ive only brung food back once last year sometime for same reason and it was a different worker so idk what the problem was. I usually have a good experience there and like I said food is good. Every1 else there are very nice esp lady with dimples she always very sweet.

We ordered the supreme burrito, chicken fajita burrito, chicken fajita combo plate, and the chips with cheese and guacamole for dinner tonight. Every item was wonderful and had great flavor. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the St. Cloud area. This was our first time here, but we will 100% be coming back here again in the future!

Ate at Gilberto’s heading through St. Cloud. LOTS of selection. Too much really. I didn’t get a chance to read the entire menu before I had to order. The night we were here, there were people coming and going and the drive through was busy the entire time. Fast service for how busy they were. I went with the steak burrito. No offense, but I like Chipotle more. So much selection here. I’ll try something else next time I come though.

This was probably the best authentic Mexican food I've had in a while. The chips, taco shells, and tortillas are all homemade. I couldn't believe it, everything was so freaking tasty. They have a very versatile drink station and an even bigger array of hot sauces. Big portions and good service. I'll definitely be coming back.
