Excellent food, filled me up. The sambusas are great!

There food was delicious. The soup was very hot and ready right away. It had nice flavor with some veggies and a hint of lemon flavor. The rice was delicious, it was also full of flavor. I choose the proteins of goat and fish for my rice which complimented it very well. The fish was fried and mixed with the rice was really good. The goat was very meaty and tasty. They don't have a menu so depending on the time of day I think the food varies. They have three sizes and the costs are, $10, $13, and $26. In the picture below I got the $13 one and I had to bring home leftovers as I couldn't finish it. The restaurant was filled with nice people and saying hello. I am not sure if I had just timed it right as it was after prayer. Or if that's just how friendly the people that frequent there are. Either way it was a pleasant surprise and I highly recommend trying this place if you want some good Somali food.
