The Pickled Loon

Left my wallet at the bar before moving to a table. When I realized about a half an hour to 45 minutes later it was missing, I asked the bartender if they had seen a wallet. By this time the bar occupancy had doubled to about 40-50 people which had my hope of finding my wallet very low. Apparently, that didn't matter. There it was sitting safely behind the bar, not one dollar missing. The drinks were mixed well. Not overpowering, not skimping on the liquor either. Good prices. A bit of a younger crowd (College aged) for my taste. I'm 33, but I never felt like I was out of place. Had a good overall vibe and the server on the floor, Morgan, was vibrant, smiling, and friendly. Didn't interact with all the staff, but if the staff I interacted with was any indication of the rest, they have quite a crew there. I will definitely be back during a slow time in the week instead of a Friday night next time. Just a personal preference to see how the off hours vibe is.

I admire this spot! They have great meals, their menu is varied, The chef in that spot is an expert, I like very much eating all their dishes. The food is always tasty, the attitude towards the guests is helpful. I go often to this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. Highly recommended.

First time experience at The Pickled Loon. When we initially walked in we had doubts and almost walked right out. Good thing we didn't because we enjoyed everything we ordered. The Loon Burger was fantastic and cooked to perfection. My wife loved the Chicken Alfredo. She is quite picky and gave it an 8.5 out of 10. The dry rub wings were quite good with a little heat. My daughter who always gets mac n cheese ordered that particular meal and rated it below Kraft mac n cheese, but still liked it. The service was quite good but there was an error in the bill that needed correction. All in all it is a nice place with great tasting microbrew beer. We will be back. Give it a shot!

Great service and amazing food. Really enjoy the beers they have on tap and they are always updating and have new things to try. They have a nice space downstairs for eating and a small space for acoustic musicians. Upstairs they have a great space for dancing and larger bands. There is also a bar upstairs so you don't have to go up and down the stairs during the shows. All in all, a really great place that is spaced out a little ways from all the other hustle and bustle of downtown St. Cloud.

A great selection of beers from local brewers and food. Out door seating in shade. Service was fast and polite. I had the blue gill fish and chips and the wife had fish tacos both were a unique take on classic pub selections and very large portions. The plate of fries was huge.
