Roma's Italian Eatery

Made my first trip to Roma for an early dinner service on a Friday and it was delicious.

We ordered the toasted ravioli for an appetizer - which was arguably my favorite part of the meal. Highly recommend. I also got the old fashioned, which was great.

For our entree, I got the Chicken Alfredo and my wife got the Roasted Chicken. I was a HUGE fan of the Chicken Alfredo, and would definitely order again.

Overall a great experience and service was on par with what I would expect from a nicer establishment. Will definitely be back again!

This food was amazing, the quality of the bread and the in restaurant made pasta was excellent. The bread was soft and delicious and the chicken Alfredo was absolutely outstanding. You want to experience a touch of Italy, you gotta come here! Definitely one of my favorite places in southern Minnesota! I will be coming here every time I pass through!

The food came out really fast!
Our server was very unattentivr and not very friendly.
We ordered the Bruschetta which was AMAZING! I would get that AGAIN!
We got the chicken and gnocchi soup, tasty, but there was NO gnocchi in the soup.
I got the Chicken fettucini alfredo.
Fettuccine and alfredo sauce were Good, but the chicken was tasteless.
My husband got the sausage rigatoni.
Very tasty, but hardly any sausage.
We did not try any desserts because we were full.
Overall a pretty good experience.

I just had a fantastic dining debut at Roma’s Italian Eatery. This spot has undoubtedly filled a void missing in our town's food scene. With a menu that addresses the limitations of other local restaurants, Roma's brings a fresh wave of uniqueness, freshness, and innovation to every aspect of your dining experience, from cocktails to desserts.

The restaurant's thoughtfully designed layout creates a welcoming atmosphere and has large windows that offer stunning views of downtown Owatonna. A diverse and impressive drink list, including an extensive wine selection and a craft beer list, ensures something for everyone.

We started with the Prosciutto Bread, a scratch-made delight with fantastic texture and taste. As for the main course, I enjoyed tasting various dishes, including the Steak Risotto, Chicken Parmesan, and Tomahawk Pork Chop. The Steak Risotto had many fresh flavors, the Tomahawk Pork was well seasoned and tender, and the Chick Alfredo-Chicken Parmesan was my personal favorite and melts in your mouth with the homemade fettucini noodles with the perfectly crusted chicken set on top.

We had to save room for the homemade gelato. This dessert, like everything else, was crafted from scratch. The cookies and cream Gelato was incredible!

My experience at Roma’s Italian Eatery deserves a perfect 10 out of 10. Having previously enjoyed dining at their other restaurants, Redemption and Reunion, my expectations were high, yet Roma’s managed to exceed them.

As a minor suggestion, I recommend reevaluating the use of paper straws, which, though eco-friendly, are annoying and flimsy. Despite this minor point, Roma's Italian Eatery is an outstanding addition to Owatonna. We look forward to future dining experiences at Roma’s.
