Timber Lodge Steakhouse

Stopped in on my way to New Mexico from Minnesota and I can say the staff was amazing and very polite. top notch service in my opinion and didn't have to wait forever in a day to be fed like most larger steak houses I've been to before. Great service, great staff, and absolutely wonderful steak and burgers! Will definitely stop in again next time I'm in the area!

Food was great! They need more help and teamwork. We waited 10 min before anyone greeted us tonight to seat us. We were sat and nobody came to take our order for about 20 min. We ordered drinks, app and main course at once. I waited 20 min for my Bloody Mary. I actually went to the bar to get my drink that had been sitting there. Our waitress apologized many times and kept telling us and all her other tables she also had a 12 top and to please be patient. 3 other tables were seated in our section after us and we received our food after all of them (one table was already done eating and gone before our app even arrived). We weren't in a hurry but over 2 hours front to back to get out of there on a work night kinda sucked when we had other stuff at home to do. I understand being short handed, but the manager was bartending I think? She was nowhere to be seen or helping out her servers or checking in on guests or even behind the Bar. Kinda sad, they were always top notch with top notch servers, but they all left and found other serving jobs out of town at the same place for the most part. Establishment Needs some improvement to say the least and more Staff. I hope they find their way so we continue to go back and enjoy the atmosphere and food!

Dawn was the bartender when I stopped in. She was on top of her game. Some of the best service I have got or seen in a long time. She acknowledged everyone promptly and said I'll be with you shortly. Very polite and courteous.
I had a Sierra mist and wings, the wings were perfect and delicious.

We have casual dinners and lunches here quite often. It is consistently good, in our opinion. But today we had an outstanding experience. We hosted a luncheon in its banquet room for a graduation party of 22 people. Everything was set up when we got there. We were welcomed warmly by Amanda. Our server Monica was excellent. She seemed to know when to show up when we needed something. She was calm and kept on top of our drink orders. Our lunches were served up promptly and at the correct temperature. Thanks to the whole crew!
