Slippery's Bar & Grill

Delicious pumpkin cake! Worth eating lunch to have this for dessert. Love the location along the Mississippi River. Beautiful fall vistas.

We loved the place. The view of the Mississippi River from our table was great. The food was very good and the prices were modest. The service was top notch. We went down to the dock after lunch to talk to some fishermen who had stopped by Slippery's for lunch. We made a very good choice in picking this restaurant.

The restaurant was pretty clean.

it was an overall good experience but nothing to take home and brag to Mom about.
I enjoy the patio overlooking the river. There seem to be a lot of flies on the day that I was there?

There's a little gift shop there also and the lady running the gift shop was really fun to talk to.

Nice local restaurant with some fun movie history. Everything there party order was great, beer tap selection was good too. We were able to sit outside. In the spring, make sure to double check if they are open, Mississippi River flooding is a problem in this area. Also, grumpy old men wasn't actually filmed there, just based off the place. But still plenty of cute movie stuff.
