We have enjoyed coming here numerous times in the past. The food is always decent, staff are friendly. Last night was not like the others. We got sat right away given how busy it was, which was nice. But took 10+minutes before our drink order came and our app came out only a few minutes before our meal. Again the food was good, but my husband found a very coarse hair in the fries. We lost appetites. The server who has been great in the past was not on her game last night. We will go back but will be more vocal about our dislikes.
Had much more of a bar-like atmosphere than I was expecting, decor is very plain. Unfortunately I went at the busiest time , it was hard to find parking and there was bingo so it was extremely loud, I had a hard time hearing friends at times. The food was really good, though. Their dilly fries are SO delicious.
Great place to grab a burger and drink. I ordered the Mac and cheese burger and it was delicious. Our server was polite and service was fast. Their patio is great and typically quiet and out of the sun in the evenings. Nice to have other options than Applebee's or McDonald's in Cottage Grove. Support this place!
We visited here for the first time recently. Our food was over and under cooked. The onion rings were like rubber on the outside, barely cooked on the inside, and way too big. Maybe they should try making them a lot smaller instead the size of a plate. The burger had 2 paper thin patties and was practically burnt. I was never asked how I like my burger cooked. For $12.50 for a burger and 3 over/under cooked onion rings, I was not impressed. This wasn't even McDonald's quality. On a positive note, the bar is pretty good. 2 for 1 beer was a pretty good deal. That is the only reason I gave it 3 stars, and the fact that our server was nice. This was our first and last visit here. We are not big drinkers, and there are too many other great restaurants to visit.
