The Old Log Cabin Restaurant

Tasty food (I had the marinated chicken breast with baked potato and French onion soup, followed by strawberry shortcake). Reasonable prices, given that prices are kind of high all over these days. Good service despite being busy. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Hard to find something low-fat, low-calorie on the menu; this restaurant is best for folks not watching their waistline or who've worked up an appetite hiking all day.

Love everything here, especially the fish (beer battered cod) and chicken. Best cheese curds ever. Great atmosphere. EDIT: They changed the ribs which is a negative for me but still love going here. Still overall 5 stars!

I loved the feel of the restaurant. I like the log cabin look and feel. The lighting was a little dark, but I don't have great eyesight so the menu was a little hard to see.
The food was AMAZING!!!! I want to come back for the bread pudding, we were to full to get dessert. I think Emily was our waitress and she was the best. Definitely coming back soon hopefully.

Great service and food. Had dinner for my dad and grandmother's birthday and it was fantastic. They seated us towards the back where we were a bit more boxed in which worked great for containing the toddler. They also put in a rush order for our 3 year old to keep him busy while the rest of the family conversed and enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend this restaurant outside of town. It's worth the drive.
