Phil's Tara Hideaway

If I could give 6 stars I would, best food and drinks in the area. It is worth finding this hideaway. I have had several superb meals here served at the bar. From fish to steak to seafood, always prepared perfectly. I feel like they cook for me as if I am family. Easily my favorite restaurant in Minnesota!!!

One of our favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities. The menu offers a great selection of entrees with a Greek flair. Prices are reasonable, and the dishes served are excellent. Service is always good. We most recently fined at Phil's Tara Hideaway with another couple that we join for dinner from time to time. The other couple only eats fish for meat, and we all enjoyed the walleye entrees along with an appetizer and a bottle of wine. With a pleasant atmosphere in the rustic log cabin it made for an enjoyable evening.

Best execution of a Minnesota supper club. Good steaks and chops, excellently cooked, with good sides for the price. Deserts were amazing.

Mostly older people there, but really good food regardless.

Great food! Get there early on the weekends or you will have to wait. Great atmosphere and the food is worth the price. May be a bit loud and feel a little close, but that's part of the charm. It's a MUST go to, if you have a list of places to try.

Wonderful establishment! Fantastic food and beverage selection! Not what I expected walking into a smaller log cabin on the end of town. Friendly staff. It can get a little tight during a rush. Was hoping for a larger outdoor patio space but isn't a deal breaker.
