A cute little diner with all the feel of small towns and nostalgia. The food was pretty good, the rootbeer is worth the trip, but sadly the service was horrible. It all comes down to them being short staffed, having let 2 employees go between 5 and 6pm on a weekday. Seems like a bad choice to me. I might be back, hopefully I can give a better review the next time.
Wanted to try it for a while, had the meatloaf sandwich, simply Devine! Onion rings you ask, best in the cities! Carrot cake cup cakes, ordering 2 dozen for Thanksgiving. Try the root beer.
It was nice to see the restaurant open, after the major construction. The service was excellent and the portions were very generous.
Great to have this local establishment back. Quality of the food is back to where it was years ago. Prices were also back to normal. Can highly recommend again!
I think they're still working out the kinks after reopening. I think I heard the waitress say sorry to 4-5 tables for delayed orders or wrong orders received. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive at the table. Chicken was a bit dry, and we were given a pretty small portion of fries. Hope they are able to get things working, we really want them to be successful.
