Fantastic quant and old fashioned hotel in nice location. Had the fondue dinner which was fabulous. Heidi was an outstanding server! Room was very clean and was not hounded by housekeeping at 8am like most chain hotels. Overall a great place for a nice night out....highly recommended!!
I stayed room 221 15/16 Tuesday night to Wednesday morning
Front desk was beyond nice checking in and checking out. Room itself wasn’t bad at all just had a few cons
Pillows need to be replaced couldn’t use them at all..
Left lamp on switch was broken couldn’t read while the wife was sleeping
Couldn’t open the windows much with a noise coming from maybe The ventilation system or whatever it’s called.
Bathroom floor was a little dirty by the toilet
Otherwise great location and people at the desk
Would love to stay their again and give it another go . Love the older style rooms that’s reason I took the wife out for the night.
We had a wonderful breakfast at the Lowell Hotel. We plan on staying at the Lowell on our next trip. Built in the 1920s, this grand, old hotel retains genuine grace and grandeur of its original presentation.
My husband and I have eaten at Lowell Inn many times but today we were disappointed with the Sunday brunch. We arrived around 1:30 and found the food not very hot. I personally like my food very hot when I eat so this was a major disappointment. I was also looking forward to dessert since I had been off sugar for about a month but the desserts were disappointing too. Normally we love eating at Lowell Inn but our first time having their brunch was not worth the money. We have done the tea for a couple times and I highly recommend that. Their mushroom soup is fabulous.
Love this place! It has such charm with all of its old fashioned furniture, but everything still works wonderfully (great shower!). I recommend staying in the original rooms instead of the new wing. The new rooms seem to be the ones that have balconies, but it's way more worth it to stay in one of the fancy older rooms.
