El Huichol Mexican Restaurant

Wow! This restaurant is a hidden gem in Buffalo. Some of the best Mexican food I have had in my life. We tried carne asada fries, creamy salsa Mexican pasta and birria tacos and they were all equally scrumptious! The service was great, atmosphere was lovely and food came out fast too. Can't wait to go back here. Highly recommended!

Fabulous street tacos. The enchiladas were smothered with cheese - so tasty. Fajitas were sizzlingly delicious. And I had the quesabirras were every bit as good as what I got in the authentic place in CA. And the best chips... truly outstanding. I'd come back just for the chips!

It was a fantastic experience. We were greeted and seated right away. Food was delicious, plenty of flavor and servings were just enough. Customer service was polite and friendly. Clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend eating there. Will go there again and again.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is your place. If you want Americanized or Tex-Mex, then it is not for you. I grow up eating traditional Mexican food and this restaurant made my soul happy! Childhood flavors 😋

This place has by far the most amazing refried beans and Spanish rice I've ever had!
I had the Tres Amigos Enchilada's and it was absolutely amazing!
The prices were good, the food was great, and the beers are reasonably priced for the size that you get which is pretty big!
The complementary chips and salsa was delicious and the chips were hot and the salsa had great taste to it and not too hot for the whole family!
The staff was super friendly and very helpful with helping explaining some dishes that I did not know.
We will definitely be going back again, I highly recommend this place, especially if you like really good Mexican food!!!
