Great food, with excellent service. What more can you expect?

Driving south to our Gulf Shores getaway, I checked Yelp reviews and we decided it was time for catfish in Quitman, Mississippi!

When you pull up, you see the building is not fancy.... But don't you dare drive off because the food is outstanding.

We all ordered the Friday Special - 5 boiled shrimp, 5 fried shrimp, 5 Catfish nuggets, homemade coleslaw, Hush Puppies and homemade French Fries The waitress suggested we add a loaf of their fried bread with honey butter. The food was 5 star delicious and the price a bargain @ $9.99 per meal and $3.99 for the bread.

Portions were huge and the food was marvelous. Service was excellent, too.

I highly recommend Bubba's. Get here as soon as you can!!

I travel for work, and seek out places like this, but this one I know about because my wife is from nearby. First things first, best catfish anywhere! There are several other very fine catfish restaurants from Jackson to the Pontchartrain area, but this place, is the best. I've been there probably a dozen times and their quality is excellent every time. A little kick of spice but not overwhelming, a great balance of breading and fish. Staff every single time is friendly and fun. Mississippi without question is the best state for catfish, and in my opinion this is the best in Mississippi. Worth a detour!
