Crescent City Grill

The food was very good with generally large portions. It appeared that half the tables had been removed for 'social spacing' resulting in a less crowded experience. Perhaps half the kitchen staff had also been removed as service, although quite professional, was very slow.

The food is great, but this week the service was slow. We waited an hour after our orders for one of their staples, shrimp and grits, which was barely warmer than room temp when it arrived. We were comped with free desserts all around! ♥️

From start to finish, hands down the best food I've had in recent memory. We got the shrimp bisque soup of the day, then the seafood crepes- sounded strange but it was AMAZING, then the white chocolate bread pudding just blew us away. What an awesome place!

We had an amazing experience today. Our waitress was so kind and helpful. Our food was amazing. The servers wore their masks and I had an amazing time. I definitely think this is a great place to go for a nice meal. I would've taken a picture of my food but i was so excited I ate before I could.

I am extremely pleased with my experience at Crescent City Grill. The decor is old and classic, the atmosphere warm and casual, and the food and service are impeccable. First, the food is delectable, fresh and prepared very fast. Courses are brought right on time to ensure the meal is well paced but not rushed. The wait staff is a treat to observe. I watched the service at three other tables besides my own, and saw how well they graciously handled demanding customers, answered questions with poise and highlighted the chef’s specials and dietary accommodations available. My own waiter was attentive but courteous, and astutely observant. My water glass remained full with few interruptions and I was politely queried about the quality of my meal at the appropriate time. I enjoyed my complete dining experience here, and highly recommend you make this a Hattiesburg visit priority.
