Texas Pitmaster BBQ

Ate here on Sunday, arrived at 12:30. It took 45 minutes to get a sandwich order. Looks like to me pulled pork that tasted like it was cooked in a crock pot but delicious would be ready all the time. I think the waitress failed to turn the order in and then made excuses.
Will go back but won’t be in a hurry because they’re not, so it’s good food with a long wait.

We got two plates, brisket and pork, and both were delicious. Of our sides, the loaded potato salad and cole slaw were excellent, the smoked corn was good, and the baked beans were about average. The young man behind the counter was both friendly and knowledgeable. We bought our drinks at the convenience store that shares the space. Once again, Mississippi delivers on the gas station eats.

The next time I pass this way I hope to eat one of their Armadillo Eggs.

Really good meal! Brisket was the best I have ever had. Loaded potato salad was really good too! Oh, and you got to try the armadillo eggs! Only negative comment...bathrooms are not easily accessible for someone with a disability. Food was great though. We will be back!

We were blown away like a Texas Tornado!!! We weren't able to get exactly what we ordered due to a total sell out before we arrived. However the waitress, Brittany, and the owner Josh Davenport, went above and beyond to serve us an amazing meal regardless! He put his A-Team to work and they delivered! The best service we've seen in a very long time, and I'll go so far as to say ever in Laurel! For that matter, Nationwide! It's about time coming home actually felt like coming home! Way to go guys! We will be back, hopefully with more family to sit at your table!
