We are staying at the local Getaway houses. After reading the reviews, we had to try the burgers. Best burger hands down!
Best hamburger and hamburger steak you will ever eat.
Don't let the appearance of this little place fool you. The two ladies that I was served by were very polite and put some heart into what they do. Idk what they put in that burger patty but I'm pretty sure one of the ingredients is love.
I love "local" Hamburgers and they front of the Tastee Shack said they had the best hamburgers in the country. Well, I would agree that they have the best hamburgers in Meadeville I've have had the others in Meadville and there are some good ones, but Tastee Shack is my new #1. These folks come pretty close to the top of the list for me in ALL of South Mississippi. The burger was bigger than I expected (well worth the $5), the veggies were fresh and crisp, the bun soft and not soggy... I got it faster than any other drive-in I've eaten at, which is really great. I must know a dozen places like this and this one is well worth the stop if your near!
They really do have the best hamburger in the county. The food was served fresh and hot.
