TBG That Boy Good

This place went above my expectations! The atmosphere inside was really neat and the food was delicious. I like their bold style, it’s like BBQ with confidence lol.

All of the waitstaff that took care of us were so welcoming. Chris was a great host!! Ally was our server and she was a sweetheart. She was attentive and knew the menu very well. She had great recommendations.

The deviled eggs and mac n cheese were SO good too!

We had already tried takeout and loved it and decided to dine in with friends. It was even better! The pork sandwich plate is so delicious! The deviled eggs OMG so delicious 😋 we could have eaten two dozen! Will definitely be back, friends had the pork plate and catfish plate and everyone enjoyed. Great atmosphere

Went to TBG since I was in New Orleans, I have been to That Boy Good in Oceanside, CA and so I thought lets hit the new one in Bay St. Louis. Food was excellent - ribs, pulled pork, sausage, mac n cheese and everything on the menu was excellent. Chris (GM/Co-owner) and Chef Mark (Co-Owner) chat with the customers and the wait staff is excellent.

That Boy Good is a very recent addition to the food scene on the gulf coast but I gotta say, probably one of the most amazing experiences for barbeque and blues lovers. Their smoked ribs were FALL off the bone good, the pulled pork melted in your mouth, and their cornbread was just right! Could not believe a restaurant like this was hidden in Bay Saint Louis, right off Highway 90. One of the owners, Chris, who was working the bar and my host, is such a cool guy. You can tell he really loves what he does and serving amazing eats is a passion for him. Will DEFINITELY be coming back and bringing friends too!

This place has a great blues vibe with a bar that extends almost the entire length of the dining area. The bbq was delicious. I ordered the ribs, with greens and mac n cheese, and it comes with cornbread that was sweet but spicy.

Unfortunately, we visited during the first week, and the service was not so great. They forgot over half our order amd everytime they put something in for us, it was taken to another table by accident. One server shifted blame to the other. The other server seemed angry because they messed up, but the anger was directed at us. I'm giving this place 3 stars until I return and see improvement.
