Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Wydell and the team always take care of me when I come! I dont know them all by name but everyone is nice. They get really busy but they move as quick as they can and the chicken is hot.

The drive thru is always a great way to grab food if you don't want to get out, but when it's the only way to grab food, it's tedious because the lines are super long. Within the time we've been hit with this Pandemic, surely by now, they can figure out a way to order inside without dining in.

I will give them 5 ? on the line moving pretty quickly though. However - here's the rest. lol

What was a little confusing is the doors were locked, yet I watched people come out with single orders of food. I watched one guy walk up and tried to get in but the doors were locked. I giggled to myself thinking, you're in the drive thru line with us, but you abandon your truck to try the doors. Well - shortly after he walks back to his truck, his buddies with the same uniform walks out of the restaurant with food and drinks. ?

Now to place my order - I asked for all dark, and the gentleman said I can't! I'm thinking, surely you can, just pay extra. I know it's that way for all white meat. Anywhoooo - he checks with someone, but I never heard a response. I finish my order, he tells me $24ish, and I'm thinking, great because I only had $25. I make it to the window and he said $26.26. Wait - I told him what he quoted and he said no he didn't. Hmmmm - okay.

I check my bag before pulling off and the mashed potatoes weren't in there! I'm so glad I checked before leaving because I wasn't trying to wait at the end of the line for a family size container of potatoes. ?

I like Popeyes I just don't like hair in my chicken so if you go and you fried chicken you should wash it and clean it and pull all the hair that may be left from the factories out of it before you cook it Popeyes doesn't do that a lot of chicken places don't so I fry my chicken at home but Popeyes can have good chicken I just have to examine it before I eat it

Drive up,order pay and leave fresh

Mostly a great place to go. I would not trade it in. My special place.
