Stopped in for lunch. They close from 2:00 pm to 4:00 p.m . We got there right before 2:00 pm. This restaurant is located in the Buea Rivage casino. We had room service from here the first night we arrived. Ordered the catfish.
On our last day there, we stopped in. The food was great and our waitress was wonderful.
Chicken and waffles were horrible. The waffles was cold. The chicken was bland. That was a waste of $23 times two. The chicken thick. We should have ordered something a little more simple. Eggs and toast
The location is quite spacious and doesn't require reservations. However, the food tasted average, and I was expecting better from a fine dining establishment. I ordered the fettuccine with Boulogne sauce, and I hope they used olive oil because too much grease could clog my arteries. Unfortunately, the shrimp and grits were too salty for my liking, even saltier than the water in Mississippi. Overall, I am not a fan of this restaurant.
Had the omelette with peppers and onions. It was good. I especially liked the potato cakes. The chocolate cake was fabulous! My wife had the chicken and waffles. She thoroughly enjoyed them. We ate there on Christmas Day. They didn’t get five stars because they took about 30 minutes to get our food to us. The waitress was great but I think the kitchen was short staffed. We still enjoyed everything.
