Best shredded beef, chicken and steak tacos. The price was too cheap for the quality food and service. My new go to spot!

This was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had ever. The whole fried fish was incredible and they have some really good horchata. I found this place on the gulf foodie group on Facebook and it didn’t disappoint. The chips were hot and freshly fried and the salsa was delicious. Found my new spot! Service was great and quick.

Just visiting the area and was hungry for Mexican. This is the place to go to. Not much seating but you're in and out so quickly, if you had to wait it wouldn't be long. Food was delish

By far the BEST Tex-Mex/Mexican food anywhere on the entire MS gulf coast! As a previous owner of a Mexican restaurant, and coming from southern CA, I can freely say this without hesitation. I love my spicy food, but more importantly, I love food with great flavor. El Mocajete offers both! They make the BEST Birria taco that I've ever had outside of Mexico, and her enchiladas verde was outstanding! The sauces are all so good. My favorite was the beautiful, chunky, freshly made guacamole! Her prices are beyond reasonable. This IS my new #1 place to go for Mexican food. Just GO and see for yourself!

The food is excellent, service is quick and efficient. I had many items on menu and each is prepared well and taste great!! Good selection of sauces with excellent chips, salsa and guacamole.
