Went here for the 1st time & the establishment is really nice. The takeout order service was prompt. My food was fresh & really good, except for the plantains. They were completely wet & soft, no crispness & tasted like just oil. I’d definitely come back & request my plantain properly cooked
This was my first time eating at a Jamaican restaurant and I was not disappointed.
Kayla, my waitress was very nice and friendly and the food was excellent.
I had the curry goat, it was my first time eating goat but it was flavorful and delicious. It's definitely not fast food. I will definitely visit again when on the coast.
Food was pricey for what we was received. I got the escovitch red snapper and I was asked what size did I want I said extra large and the fish I received was medium size at best. I have gotten this same course at a few other spots and this was the worst. It didn't taste bad but it was just lackluster. I could have done without the presentation and just made it correctly. The order came with cabbage that was mostly bellpeppers and carrots with a little cabbage. The cornbread was great though. The oxtail had a good flavor but were mostly fat. The jerk wings were Ok. We also ordered a burger and fries that were as intended. The Best thing was this drink, Delicious and strong.
So my first visit here and from the moment I walked in the door my server Jada had the best attitude ever. Love that. Ambiance is great. I got seated outside just because the vibe and weather permitted too. I’m from NYC and so are the owners so was my server to meet someone from up north. Ok back to the food; I ordered the jerk chicken meal and was not disappointed along with fresh coco bread. The pineapple ginger juice a must have too. I’ll be back with my crew for sure. Come and check them out.
Nice atmosphere and easy to find! My hubby and I both ordered the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and beans drizzled with ox tail gravy! Oh my gosh! So good and the service was prompt and friendly! A nice little chilled spot to get amazing food at an affordable price. They honor military with discounts and our bill was under $40. The portion sizes were filling and the sweet cornbread was amazing!! Will definitely go back!!
