The food and service were good. Food is hot and fresh. Clean restaurant

Such a surprisingly pleasant experience! The cashier was more than patient answering my questions and even making great suggestions. This was my first time ever at this restaurant or any Captain D's. I am very picky when it comes to fish so I normally don't order any at fast food or restaurants. However, my husband said they have the best fish. So I ordered the fish and shrimp and boy was it great! Hot!! Lightly battered and had a gentle crunch. Not at all what I was expecting. And it wasn't "fishy" smelling or tasting which was a big relief. I guess to explain further, it tasted like fresh fish and not rotten strong smelling and tasting fish. Which was perfect for me! Even enjoyed the Mac and cheese which was worth the upcharge to change from fries. Bush puppies were pretty goid as well! Another one I'll add to my "I will be back" list ☺️

The food is good. Great location. My only even better is that it's quite greasy. I just squeezed excess with a napkin. However, the food is really good.

Decided to try this location on Highway 49 in Gulfport. Ordered their 2 piece, fish special, which came with two hush puppies and your choice of a side I choose french fries.
The fish was fried perfectly. The hush puppies were good french fries were so so but that’s OK. The other food made up for it. Of course I like cocktail sauce which I was given, fresh lemon and ketchup. I did the drive-through the service was quick. The girl at the window was courteous and nice and even went out of her way to get the lemon for me so I will give this restaurant six stars but I can’t so they got five.
I didn’t go inside the restaurant it was very clean and very modern. They have a drink station for dine in high chairs pretty much whatever you need bathrooms were very very clean. I would recommend this Captain D’s to anyone on the Coast.

Very impressed overall. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The place was clean and food was fresh. I can't ask for much more then that. Thanks :-)
