Shrimp Basket

Great staff, bartender Michelle(Linda!) was a hoot and took great care of us. Drinks were great. Willie's fresh shucked oysters were great, nice and salty, and very clean(no shell bits). The steamed shrimp were a touch overdone, but all else was good. We will be back!

WOW!!! THANK YOU MICHELLE!!! You are awesome!! We are truck drivers and we were picking up a load at Lowe's just down the street from Shrimp Basket in Gulf Port. We decided to order through Door Dash. The food was great!! Shrimp & grits, stuffed crab, seafood gumbo..... AND FUNNEL CAKE FRIES!!! A M A Z I N G!!!! Sooooooo yummy!! I loved the shrimp coleslaw too! Has to be THE BEST coleslaw I've had in a really long time! Super creamy, full of flavor and tasty shrimp! Great food! Great customer service! Michelle definitely went above and beyond!!

✅We were staying at a nearby hotel and saw this place and decided to check it out for dinner to go. I got a simple salad with fried shrimp on top, and it was really good. If you like coleslaw, they have shrimp coleslaw, which is a combination of regular coleslaw with diced boiled shrimp in it. All of the wait staff were wearing masks, which we greatly appreciated.

Nice place. We shared the Seafood Basket and it had plenty of food for two.

The breading on all was very good. My wife loved the shrimp and oysters. The fish was in good sized chunks. The stuffed crab was okay. I would have been happy to swap the crab for something else.

We swapped the slaw for fried okra and it was a good swap. There were plenty of fries for both of us.

The corn fritter was good, but small. I'm not sure why they don't include more of them. Hush puppies were good but also small.

Everything was amazing! Our server and hostess were Fantastic, the manager even took the time to check on all of her guests, just to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious and fresh. We loved the cajun seasoning catfish and my husband enjoyed the shrimp po-boy. Bring an appetite, the food is plentiful! We will definitely be visiting this location again very soon!
