Hook Gulf Coast Cuisine

Ordered from here several times and always enjoyed the food! Would recommend. I like the chicken Cesar salad, risotto and asparagus. The shrimp app is good too!

Having visited Hook Gulf Coast Cuisine several times and combining an average of all the experiences and various dishes I have tried, I can confidently say that I have always been impressed with the quality of seafood and ingredients used by Chef Corry. Service has always been 2nd to none and I would rival them against the best in the business. The atmosphere is relaxed with a downtown coastal feel. Always a clean facility and very friendly, inviting environment. I would highly recommend them to anyone I meet in my travels. The oysters rockefeller appetizer, while not traditional, is an absolute must have! Enjoy!

Great food, relaxed atmosphere. Wait staff was attentive and personable. I had the seared tuna and the chocolate lava cake. Both were perfect. Was in town for a week-long trip and had tried other restaurants in the immediate area previously but wasn't really impressed. This was the best one. Will definitely be back.

We love Hook. The food is fantastic and we've never had a bad meal. There are several outside tables to sit at. Pass Christian is quaint. But, the service was REALLY slow today. Not sure our server was new, too many tables and not enough staff? We were not in a rush, but our food took forever to get there and our poor server seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Still, she was friendly and personable. But it's HOT here in S. Mississippi, and even if I am not in a hurry, we waited for everything longer than usual. This little setback won't keep us from coming back however.

The cheeseburger was amazing! It was on a jalapeno cheddar bread that was so soft and sweet. I didn't taste the jalapeno, but my wife said she did. Which means it's not overwhelming. The burger was cooked perfectly and the toppings were perfect for the burger. I got it just like it was described on the menu. My wife said her salad was alright. I would have given it 5 stars but my water glass went dry and we ended up having to ask another waiter for our desert after having waited a real long time. Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed the food. I am definitely going back for another burger. Maybe service will be better next time.
