    The course is in great shape. Wide fairways give way to fast and undulating greens. The setting is the best feature. Not a house or car in sight. Staff is very personable. Look foward to playing it again!

    Nice layout and considering the course received 3 1/2" of rain the night before the course was in great condition. Fun and challenging layout

    In the middle of a National Forest. Six miles to the nearest house. This is an unbelievable location. Truly spectacular. Groomed. I don't know when they do maintenance. We never heard a car, lawnmower or weed eater. We teed off at 720 am and every green was already mowed. Not a wet dew mark on any green.

    Excellent everything. Great course, great upkeep, great service, excellent experience. Go play Grand Bear. You’ll enjoy it.

    Its a beautiful course and the clubhouse is, as well. The layout is pretty tough, but the greens roll true and the fairways are in nice condition. The only issue is that its pretty expensive. You can play at a comparable course in the area for almost half the price (The Oaks or Shell Landing, for example).
