Driving from Texas to Florida, this place was a joy to stop at. Every plate was full and worth the price. Each bite had flavor and everyone loved the Mac & Cheese. The rib plate and burger plate was together $25 and the two plates in the one picture was $30.
The smothered pork was so good and flavorful, my favorite part was the cabbage.
If you need a place to stop by off the highway, I suggest this little place.

Absolutely delicious country home style soul food. I eat there all the time. I've had just about some of everything they cook. I've not had anything that wasn't good. Also the Nicest polite people you will ever do business with. It's a small place that has much better tasting food than the big name chain restaurants. As a matter of fact, this place could show big name restaurants how to cook real food with real taste.

Excellent food and excellent service. Very friendly folks. Rip tips, Lima beans, pull pork and the meat loaf were great. If you’re lucky then they’ll have their peach cobbler. Highly recommend. Now I am stuffed and have to get back on I-20 and drive to Jackson. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

This place far exceeded my expectations.
Very friendly and hospitable people. The food was top notch, very tasty, large portions at a great price. I can’t wait to come back.
Absolutely worth the extra few minutes off the interstate.
