Very beautiful and historical inn to walk around and take in.
The staff was accommodating and friendly. We stayed in the Spanish Suite which has beautiful vintage decor and a cozy atmosphere. The only unpleasant experience was the room service we order from the restaurant on premise. The cavatappi pasta dish was extremely saltly and the burger was burnt on one side. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. The grounds are gorgeous, setting the scene for a romantic walk in the garden or a date night photo. We plan to book again when we need uninterrupted "us" time.
Simply delightful from top to bottom. We stayed in the Tack Suite with our dog, Jahn Pierre. He loved it & so did we. Very few places in the area accommodated our four-legged family member, so we were thrilled that we could all stay! And the FOOD!!! The morning meal was truly a highlight of the stay. Great cooking and excellent service made this holiday getaway very special and relaxing!
The room was beautiful. The chocolate covered strawberries were decadent. And the bed was like a cloud! My wife and I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff in general was very nice and helpful. However, the waitress in the Library Lounge gave very poor service. Her attitude and demeanor was very nasty. The manager seemed unconcerned about the ill treatment by the waitress. Although the food was very good, I would not recommend dining in the Library Lounge and experiencing such awful service. Unless you can get a good server, it would not be worth it. I sincerely hope that the management would be concerned for all patrons, reprimand or get rid of horrible employees, and hire and train better staff.
