Mr. Chen's Authentic Chinese Restaurant

The restaurant side of Mr. Chen's is decorated nicely. The menu is extensive, and everything I have tried tastes amazing! Best green beans you will ever eat. I love shopping at the market too. There are lots of fresh asian fruits and vegetables that taste way better than the same if you try to purchase at Kroger or Wal-mart. Plus tons of fun snacks and drinks to try and ingredients for those that trust their culinary ability.

This is one of my family's favorite places. We love the food, and especially love to shop the isles of the grocery store to try new things or stock up on favorites. If you havent been here, you are really missing out.

We have been here a few times recently and the the cuisine is consistently very good. They have dishes I have not seen elsewhere such as crazy chicken, beef tenderloin with black pepper sauce, and house garlic pork which is fantastic! There is also a market there with a good selection of vegetables, canned/bottled items and fresh seafood. Well worth the stop! We live 200 miles away, but every time we are in town we go to Mr. Chens.

Chinese Restaurant as per Covid-19, no dine-in. Take out only & busier than ever. Every time spouse & I shop at the Oriental Market, we order our takeout first, shop, then eat takeout at a nearby park. Mr. Chens supplies fork, spoon, knife, napkins, chop sticks, and fortune cookies. We never order the same dish twice but so far all dishes have been excellent. No MSG, not salty, cooked thoroughly but not over cooked and piping hot!

The food is Incredible!!!
