“Amazing place to experience. We went for my 21st birthday and hade a good time. Only thing that was sub-par was the service. Even though I had made reservations and we arrived in a timely manner, we still had to wait for a table for about 15 minutes. Once sat, we got our drinks very quickly, but our order was very slow arriving to the table. Our waitress forgot on multiple occasions refills for drinks and even after being told we were first time guests, did not provide any assistance whatsoever with the menu. That all being said, I do believe that it was just our waitress specifically, as we saw other tables that were served superbly. Overall good food, cocktails, and deserts as well. I just could’ve hoped for a bit more hasty service.”

“The veggies here are well seasoned and the cornbread is exactly like I like it, a tad bit sweet. I liked it even better when a drink was included with the blueplate but the tea is mighty good. Now the tea is SWEET so you will want to mix the sweet and unsweet unless you really like it sweet. I’ve eaten a plate lunch several times and the lunches have always been pretty good. I’ve also bought whole glazed honey hams and smoked briskets and they are amazing.”
