    By far one of the best meals I've had the pleasure of eating. Only thing making it any better was spending time with Ray and Viola the Wade. Knowing the pride they take in their cooking, their cozy restaurant and making us feel part of the family was unbelievable. Before we left we were all hugging each other. They said they are living their dream. We are thankful we were a small part of that dream. An experience we won't forget.

    Off a winding back road in West, Mississippi, in an unpretentious corrugated metal building, sits Wade's Smokehouse. Step inside and experience the most amazing smoked meats, sides and desserts, all prepared by the loving hands of Ray Wade and his beautiful wife, Viola. If you're lucky, Viola will have just baked a buttermilk pie. Whatever your selection, you will leave feeling blessed for having tasted this food, and for having met these people.
