Hatsukoi Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Not only was the food incredible (Tsunami Roll for the win!), but the owners are so wonderful!! It was my birthday, and I asked that they not sing "happy birthday" with dessert since it bothers my son with autism. The owner actually offered to turn down the music in the whole restaurant for the rest of our meal. Her care and understanding was incredible. Thank you!!!

There's a little weird smell when I initially walked in, but it went away after awhile. The food is alright, although my sushi standard might be really high. The server are nice, service is quick. Although their "sales tax" is 9%... the server said oceans springs sale tax is 9%... I just looked it up, and it's 7% so I'm not sure why they put in extra 2%.

The food is always Great. This visit I had lobster bites. I was very apprehensive about getting them. Because most often then not the lobster is overcooked and overpriced. But NOT HERE THE LOBSTER WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION😍😍😍😍. Which is no small task especially when Fried. Try any of their amazing dishes. You won't be disappointed. They even have baked sushi options.

We had a great dining experience. The pho, appetizer sampler and sushi were really delicious and so fresh. The service was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!

Overall a good experience. The food was well prepared. I had The Flying Dagger which was great. A little sweet with hint of spice. Also had sashimi, which was ok. A bit grainy. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere and staff were delightful. Should I find the need for sushi in Ocean Springs I shall return.
