Italy Terrace

I read about the Italy Terrace in the Sun Herald, and knew my good friend Steve would want to go. He is a transplant from Atlantic City and loves his Italian subs.

I tried a Cheese steak (with provolone), and it was great! Although different than the poboy bread we are used to, the bread was fantastic, and the source of the bread is a guarded secret of the restaurant.

My wife enjoyed her "regular" and ordered another one to have for lunch the next week.

We are planning another visit soon. Thanks Italy Terrace!

Really enjoyed the sandwich that I had. I had the Pizza Steak, reminded me of one of my favorite restaurants my dad would take me to in New Jersey. The rest of the table enjoyed their meal also.

My only negative is the prices. I think $13.75 is fair for a sandwich, but to add a side of fries for an additional $6.95 is a bit out there. Maybe the big guy in me just wants a little more with his sandwich.

Will definitely be back though, the owner was explaining the additions coming to its service in the coming months, can’t wait to enjoy those!

As a Gulf Coast transplant who was born and raised in Atlantic City the one thing I missed was an authentic submarine sandwich. My search is over, Italy Terrace is the real deal! I sampled both an Italian and a Cheesesteak and the taste was identical to those I enjoyed when I lived in New Jersey. I would highly recomend this to anyone craving a good sub. And to those of you who have never experienced an Atlantic Cty Sub, here is your chance, you will not be sorry.

Wow, what a great lunch. My wife and I heard the cook was from Southern New Jersey and made fantastic subs. I had the Italian sub, a classic hoagie of Italian meats and cheeses with oil, lettuce, tomato and onion. My wife had the pizza steak and their tomato sauce is very good. As always the bread is crucial to the whole package and they have theirs shipped in from NJ and baked fresh on site. We moved from South Jersey in 2022. We love the local cuisine and the Po Boys but are always searching for Italian food that is on par with top notch Philly and Jersey family owned restaurants. This meets the standard and they are planning to expand to entrees also for lunch and dinner.

We are new to the Gulf Hills neighbourhood community. We visited the Gulf Hills Gulf course yesterday, 2/2/24, and stopped to have lunch at Italy Terrace Restaurant, it was truly a delightful visit. We’ve been looking for a quaint and close atmosphere where we can just go for a quick lunch and drink. Well say No more this is it!!

I Highly recommend this location. Great for when you have company and want to just go out quickly in a great atmosphere! Or arrange to meet your neighbours and friends.

From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was welcoming! The ambiance felt so cozy. Kelly the waitress is fantastic! Affordable prices, food is delicious and Paul the owner came out to greet us, Both met our expectations!!

Overall, good food, service and prices!

It will Definitely be one of our go-to places, it is a Sweet Spot!

Enjoy the outside terrace too when you go on a sunny day.
