I recently enjoyed dining at Demaiz Taco Cantina, a vibrant spot offering a delightful array of Mexican cuisine. Tucked away in Pascagoula, Ms, this eatery presents an inviting ambiance that sets the stage for an exceptional meal.
Upon stepping inside, I was warmly greeted by the hostess, whose professionalism and friendliness were a breath of fresh air. It's worth noting that while the service overall left something to be desired, with the bartender's attentiveness not quite meeting expectations, this did little to dampen the spirit of the meal.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the vegetarian burrito. It was nothing short of amazing, packed with flavors that speak to the authenticity and care put into each dish. The ingredients were fresh, the spices were perfectly balanced, and every bite was a testament to the chef's prowess in Mexican cuisine.
The atmosphere of Demaiz Taco Cantina added to the overall experience. The decor and vibe of the place transported me, making me feel as though I was dining in a cozy cantina in the heart of Mexico. The lovely ambiance, striking a perfect balance between lively and relaxed, making it an ideal setting for any occasion.
While the service might benefit from a bit more attentiveness, the friendly hostess and the exquisite food more than makeup for it. I left Demaiz Taco Cantina with a satisfied palate and memories of a burrito that I'll undoubtedly be coming back for. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this cantina is a must-visit for anyone searching for authentic Mexican flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
🤤This place was so good!! I’ve lived in a few different Central American countries, & the food was so good it transported me back to one of them! It’s one of the most authentic I’ve had this side of the border in a long while! The server was very nice and on point, the atmosphere made us feel like we were the only ones there! My wife had the Birria quesadilla & I had the Street Taco Sampler, we brought home as much as we ate there, & were both full! We loved it & we’ll definitely be monthly customers for sure! Only regret is I didn’t take more pics, but it was so good pictures were the last thing I was thinking about!
Restaurant access is straightforward, but be cautious of a section in the parking lot prone to flooding. The interior is recently renovated and well-designed, yet loud music, particularly the bass, can make concentration challenging. Despite this, the food is commendable and reasonably priced, and service is satisfactory. I refrained from giving a 5-star rating as I believe there's room for improvement. The dress code appears to be casual.
I been look for that taco spot for a long time and I’m glad to say this is that spot. The food was amazing, every bite had flavor. The margaritas were good and strong. The service from us walking in until it was time to walkout is top tier. If you’re reading this review stop here and get out your car and enjoy.
The food was okay. Loved the tajin on the glass rim. Only thing that was different were the tacos... purple corn tortillas that were not heated or lightly toasted and the meat was not seasoned to well. The black beans were bland. I'm sure it will get better once it's been opened for a bit. I enjoyed the energetic vibe and music.
