“Our family of 5 really enjoyed this place. We waited less than 3 mins for a table. The service was great, always asking if everything was good or if we needed anything. Food was PHENOMENAL!!! The fried chicken was so crunchy, the greens were awesome and they sweet potatoes casserole unbelievable. The kids liked the meatloaf and the wife enjoyed her chicken fried steak. If we get a chance before we leave....... definitely coming back.”

“We always want to try new pizza places. This one is a good one. We ordered the pizza and before we knew it they were ready....super fast. The pepperonis had a little spiciness to them which was new and great.....not used to that. The sauce had alot of flavor as well. The crust was crispy and cooked well. Wish we could eat thus again.”

“So we stayed at a VERY cool inn last Friday evening for our anniversary! Entrance instructions were very clear, Once inside - the warm colors and lighting were perfect, it truly felt like we took a portal back in time! The main hallway & common space is an awesome mix of old with modern amenities- and neither screams at the other. And there is a GREAT story of the family Matriarch! We stayed in the New York suite, and it was welcoming, and indeed reminded us of The Big Apple. The exposed brick; antique wood floors, the soaring dark wood ceilings all provide an open loft feel without being utilitarian or cold. The mix of modern furniture and Art Deco lighting is spot on COOL! The earth tone color choices throughout the Inn just adds to the warm, welcoming, restful vibe of the Buzzard’s Roost. “Stopped here for the first time this morning. Great southern breakfast for a reasonable price and good service. Got the magnolia breakfast with blueberry pancakes and sausage and gravy. My husband got a cinnamon roll and said it was good. Everything was seasoned, nothing was bland. Grits were very tasty. The sweet and spicy bacon is not spicy. They recommended the sausage casserole and we will try that next time!”

“Had a fabulous lunch here today. We were seated quickly and sweet Hailey took our order. The food arrived quickly. Loved the BBQ brisket sandwich (they included burnt ends!) and the smoked cabbage. Portion size was perfect. Hailey took such great care of us, making sure we had everything. Loved the paper towel holder. Lunch was very reasonable. Definitely add this to your trip.”

“We happen to drive by and see people eating lunch so we decided to give them a try. Turns out it was their soft opening for friends and family. They welcomed us in like we had known them forever. I'm glad too, the food was fantastic. It was fresh and made to order not sitting in a warmer. We had the burgers and a hotdogs with fries and homemade onion rings. “They told me they have been open for business every weekend since May 2022. This place has awesome barbecue pork ribs, the meat was falling off the bone. It was so good and juicy. It was only $25 for a slab of ribs!! Currently they are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 11am-8pm OCTOBER 2022 If you have a dog, bring it with you they are pet friendly w/ outdoor seating.”
