Benson’s Steakhouse

Our waitress Taylor was absolutely amazing! She worked her butt off to make sure everyone had what they needed at all times. She was non stop all night. If your lucky enough to get her, get ready to tip well because she will deserve ever bit you leave!

Their boudin egg rolls were very tasty. Only lightly dip them in the Thai chili sauce though.

Steak was solid. not the best I ever had, but was still very tender and enjoyable. Cooked just right.

My server was very nice and friendly, took care of everything I needed very promptly.

Children that were there were being very loud and obnoxious, but that's not really the fault of the restaurant, but it did get irritating.

Not a lot going on in there visually. 4 stars because it was not bad, just very forgettable. Nothing that made me want to go back immediately. I would definitely recommend this as the best steakhouse in the Hattiesburg area though. But it's not something I NEED to go back to.

Awesome steaks went for my birthday, and they gave me a piece of their delicious cheesecake with chocolate. I had the 24oz ribeye medium with the crawfish sauce a part of my wife's 16oz ribeye medium, both were great. The bread and whipped honey butter is very good, but warning each extra after the first loaf is $2 and worth every penny! Our salads were just enough to tide us over until the entries arrived with almost perfect timing. We both had the sweet potato casserole, which has just the perfect amount of praline peacan. Service was great and I can't complain about anything. Oh yeah it is best to call for reservations if you want to get in, you can walk-in but be prepared to wait because they stay pretty busy.

Food was great but the service was top tier! Always had a full glass and everything was out quickly. Our server, Sarah knew her stuff! She was very informative and so sweet! We will always request her as our sever when we come to Bensons!

We had dinner there for the first time tonight. Absolutely one of the best meals. Fantastic service, fast drinks, and the owner stopped by the table twice to see how we were doing. Lisa was the best with fast service and making us laugh. The tomahawk special is the best for a great date night! Can’t wait to go back!
