FUJI YAMA

No Saki. Chef kept dropping everything and he seemed tired or drunk or both and didn't seem very interested in being a hibachi chef. Probably the worst display of hibachi skills I have ever witnessed. Food tasted good. Don't think I will visit again.

For starters, every time i come here, the sushi is always noticeably fresh. You are instantly greeted with a smile. The hibachi itself is the best hibachi i have ever had. My service has always been excellent and this has become one of my favorites spots to eat. To top it off, they have a raspberry martini that is to die for!!!

There are some places around that are either over priced or not as tasteful as Fuji Yama. Fuji Yama is one bad Fuji mama! For lunch it is fairly priced. They offer freshly brewed sweetened and unsweetened tea. They offer hibachi table experience just fyi. The steak hibachi portions are generous. The filet hibachi was pretty tender and had a great flavor to it. There was a lot of rice but not enough protein. They also offer two or three roll specials. This place gives a fair portion for what you pay. We were in and out within 45 minutes. Two hibachi lunches and two rolls costed around 47 dollars. The service was great and efficient. Domo arigatou Misuta Robotto. (asukete kurete arigatou gozaimasu).

Second time we’ve been here. They still have amazing sushi. Everything was extremely delicious and the staff is attentive and friendly. Definitely worth trying if you haven’t been here before.

The place was nice. We had the hibachi there which was just good. Fried rice was a bit more salty. We also ordered Volcano Sushi and that was awesome.

But there are few things that we didn’t like about the place. We had to wait for 40 minutes before our hibachi was started to cook. They never said it’s going to be a little late or any thing while we were waiting.

Once the hibachi was prepared the server came immediately with togo boxes. Does that even make sense. We hadn’t really started eating and it seemed like they wanted us to leave. And within no time they brought in the bill too which didn’t feel right. So I should say the service wasn’t really good.
